Pier Lifeby Eagle EyeComment by posthumous: a great image for such extreme b/w. We can clearly see everything except for the main thing: the ocean... which is so big we don't need to see it, simply because we are so sure that it's there. This may be the best execution of the challenge. Not sure about the border, though... 9 |

Pier Lifeby Eagle EyeComment by Jutilda: Great high contrast - at last. I've only seen one other that truly has that element. Wonderful!!! |

AKA "Organic Coffee"by Eagle EyeComment by tpoc: i like the sign and the composition! i would be interested in seeing this shot with a polarizing filter to remove the reflection of the vehicle, allowing the image to show a clear view into the coffee house. i would also be interested in seeing richer color in the image. |

AKA "Organic Coffee"by Eagle EyeComment by KiwiShotz: Very very good. Simplistic, clean and interesting with the leaves from overhead. Tghe dappled light on the paintwork just balances it nicely. I know you can't do anything about the car's reflection, it's going to bug some people. If the image would look better without it (jury's still out), in a commercial shoot we would have a massive black cloth stretched onto a frame behind the camera amd that would ill the reflection. |
