Comment by Citadel:
Interesting capture but it could be so much more. The dog is looking away from the scnene and the boy is looking at the camera. If they were looking at each other or if they were both looking in the same direction it would definitely establish a connection.

This has great potential. The focus is more on the dog than the boy. I might work on it so that they are equally focused. I might play with levels or curves to enrich the tonal quality OR do it in black and white with high contrast.

Nice. Would like a tighter crop and tone down the brightness a bit. Just a little bump on the colors. Nice entry hope you do well.

Too small for me to really judge, but in short:

A burned out sky, which is very noticeable. It attracts the most attention and not the focus, which i think is the green door. If you would have nice sunlight falling on the door, it would attract more attention, because the sky would probably not have been burned out. Also it would have given a warmer feel to the image.

The green door: maybe it has an interesting structure, but i can't see it because your image is too small.

Composition: the door is nicely put, but i can't see the fence sufficiently to get a sense of depth around the door.

entirely too small. very sorry, but this would be so much better if it used all allowed pixels. will not vote down because of it. if you need any help knowing how to take advantage of the full pixel size, feel free to PM me.
