Happy Endings (Tribute to my grandma Verna Parrott - Oct. 4, 1914 to Oct. 11, 2006 )by swamloveComment by agenkin: Boy, how to judge this picture? On the one hand, you have captured some genuine emotion and put a lot of feeling into this photograph. On the other hand, the picture is so incredibly up-front, with you holding the picture in your hand, and all the pictures in the background, and the composition is so amaturishly centered. The problem is that I have two forces colliding when looking at it: one force tells me to give a 10 for a *real* photograph of raw emotion, the other tells me to vote down for it being just a snapshot. I think that I'll assume that the snapshot feeling to this photograph is intended, and give you a 10, in the end. |
