I can see why you would use this. It fits into chemistry and i almost did the same thing - but chickened out because I thought people wanted to see beakers and test tubes and stuff in a studio. So - since I feel it DOES fir the challenge, my only critism is that this just seems a bit sleepy to me. It's a straight-on image without much of an interesting angle or composition. The fog is cool but I think it needs one more interesting element to make it memroable.

Beautiful colours and clarity. I think the flower might be a bit too centered. I think it would also be better if you got closer to the flower and eliminated some of the background.
