Mr. Grapefruitby XShadowComment by Steef: i like how you spiced up the shot of an orange with the cute face. it doesn't detract from the texture but it adds a lot. the glare on his right eye is a little distracting, i wonder if a polarizer could have helped, or maybe you used one and that's why it's only a little distracting and not very distracting ;) |

Mr. Grapefruitby XShadowComment by TraumaHound: This is cute, and a nice idea that doesn't quite work for me. The first thing that occurs to me is that the background really doesn't do much for the photo. The texture, both on the fruit and the hat does come through though. |

Mr. Grapefruitby XShadowComment by Teafran: A clever use of different materials to create a out of the box composition, but it fails to properly address the subject challenge. The joke might have worked a little better if the lighting had been better controlled. |

Mr. Grapefruitby XShadowComment by Sheryll: cute.Temporary rating of 5 for sorting purposes only. color temperature seems a bit off to me and clarity could use a bump up but the idea is awesome. Staying at 5 |

Bonsaiby XShadowComment by Teafran: A little less light in the background and more in the foreground would have made this a minimalist image that would be a top contender for a ribbon. |

Bonsaiby XShadowComment by Lockke: This is actually one of my favorites and I hope you hit the fp, not sure if others will feel the same way though. Very soft and elegant - 8. |

Bonsaiby XShadowComment by mikesnead: The string of pearls decoration at the bottom of the blinds is a wee bit distracting. |

Windfieldsby XShadowComment by atupdate: This image definitely conveys a windless day. You might want to consider using a vertical crop instead of a square crop for this image, as the negative space on the left draws attention away from the windmills more than complementing the windmills. The image also has a flat look overall and could use a little post processing help. |

Windfieldsby XShadowComment by kyebosh: stationary objects moved by non-stationary things is an interesting take on the challenge. I hope you're not getting any crooked horizon comments cause those things look pretty vertical to me :-) |
