i dont know why the pics that dont get in the top 5 or 10 these days hardly ever get any comments after rollover ..
it actually saddens me .. because so many of those photos are awesome .. and its always nice if you open a photo .. and it is awesome .. to actually say so .. its so easy .. if they are a bit so so .. then thats a bit harder .. !! .. ;)

when i saw this i thought it must have been taken with a lensbaby or something .. but its just a standard lens ..
the results you have got are amazing .. its a real standout image ..
anyway .. being in the 6's these days is nothing to sneeze at .. lol .. :)

i love Larry's comment .. i'm well trained too .. toddy will fetch .. but only for a while .. then i'm the one who has to fetch ..
i loved this in voting .. it has such a wonderful feeling of movement .. which is actually quite difficult to achieve with a still photo .. congrats on a great place in the challenge .. :)

Nice details and tones. I wonder whether more contrast would also work. Also maybe cut of just a bit of the negative space at the bottom?

Congrats on the HM, Jen. That is such a fabulous shot. Everything is just perfect. I don't know how you managed to get FOUR puppies to cooperate. I still have trouble getting good shots of one (and she's 18 months old now).
