Get Your Own Bowl!!!by Salo8899Comment by Mike_Adams: I like the shot and I understand the B&W to get rid of the doggy eye green. The flash also washed the popcorn out a bit lessening the details on all the corn. I would say going with a vertical crop might have been a big help here and it also would have taken the desk or table leg and the cords out of the shot which are also a bit distracting. Still like the shot and the fun of the dog with its own bowl though! |

Get Your Own Bowl!!!by Salo8899Comment by twilson944: Those eyes creep me out. The cords and the chair leg are rather distracting, and the conversion is a bit flat. Perhaps a contrast boost, and some level adjustments would help. |

Get Your Own Bowl!!!by Salo8899Comment by MaryO: The dog's expression is cute. Flash reflection in his eyes and general lighting are quite harsh; I would try a bounced flash or diffuse it if it's the only light you have. Also, you could probably crop out the desk leg and wires to draw more attention to your subject. |

Get Your Own Bowl!!!by Salo8899Comment by Camabs: Please do not use your onboard flash for these kind of pictures, and if you do, reflect it (piece of paper or mirror) or diffuse it (tissue). The flash realy spoils your picture. It causes dull eyes, hars shadows, a harsh reflection in the bowl and very uneven lighting between fore- and background. (3) |
