Last stopby jdenniqueComment by smudgeSMJ: I don't think this has any wow factor. There's no pop with the DOF, there's no pop with the saturation, there's not really anything moving about the subject (pun not intended :P and although it's not a bad pic it just doesn't speak to me. |

Last stopby jdenniqueComment by Teafran: A good image that suffers from a flawed perspective. The author had the right idea, but the angle and the offset are not overly attractive to the viewer and does not invite closer inspection. A closer look at a different angle using bokeh and a little better lighting control might have been a better choice. At a minimum, the right side of this image should have been cropped out to reduce outside influences and attract the viewer to the subjet matter more effectively. A good entry into the challenge. |

Last stopby jdenniqueComment by Melethia: This is so "last" as far as a stop, the power pole no longer has lines! An average shot as far as DPC goes, but nice and clean, pretty good exposure. The part I find interesting is the lack of power lines. One wonders if the area is slated to just go back to nature, or there are other plans for it. |

Mom, not in front of the guys.by jdenniqueComment by Citadel: For me this has a bit of a snapshot feel to it. It also looks like it was taken outdoors. The challenge is calling for a studio shot so while that doesn't mean you need to have a studio per se, the shot should be taken inside with controlled lighting. |
