Looks like this bloke has come straight out of the trench with the sandy look all over his body. Nicely composed, with the grass so in focus and the DOF hinting taller grasses in the background. Lighting and positioning of shadows are excellent also.

This is a nice sharp shot. There must be a story behind the toy soldier. It looks like an item from the 1930's. The BG color helps to make the little man stand out.

Nicely composed. The light/shadows and the crop give it great forward (to the right) motion.

You chose a great plant for scaling the object. It looks as if it could be human scale.

Great DOF too. The background foliage adds nicely to the effect.

The rifle looks a little sad though. :-( Just kidding.

Bluefish I really was intrigued to see what detail you had captured in this shot so took it in to photoshop and did a small edit.

Steps:
Shadow / Highlight
USM
Selective Colour (to bring out the greens a little)
A small amount of burning just to enhance the stem detail
SFW
