You'll probably get a lot of boring comments saying that the border ruins it. This is another I'm afraid. Because of the horizontal lines running through the shot I really think more of a letterbox format would emphasise this. I'd have been happier with a border about a quarter of the width of this. I like the dynamic range of the shot.

I'm on quite a bright monitor here and the editing above the centre of the sofa is really evident which is a shame. Tope left of frame is also visible editing to a lesser degree. Such a pity as the dogs look great and the texture of the sofa really comes through.

Great model, pose and composition. I'm sure she should be wearing some pants with that jumper! (but I'm glad she's not). It's just a shame that everything in the background behind the tree is so distracting.

Love the pose and the hair, I find the dot on the right of her nose distracting presumably another piercing? She is stunning though with an alluring stare.

I personally find the bottom left bit of darkness distracting too and wonder whether that could have been cloned to match the rest of the background or else a vertical crop tight into the shoulders give a cleaner composition.

Coffee and Cigrattes

I'm another of your 5's... like Jon_H below, I use that for an average shot that doesn't grab me. I don't actually mind the sepia but the splash of green on the coffee pot distracts from that feel so I would have desaturated all colours before adding a sepia tone to it.

I felt that none of the objects were actually in sharp focus which was a little off-putting - the area with most clarity is the table cloth to the bottom left of the saucer which just felt like the wong place.

Finally I feel the composition is a little cluttered with the dish and pot behind the cup. It may have been better if they were spread a little more so that each had their own space - the depth of field you chose was good and with a bit of separation between the items would have helped focus the viewer on the main subjects. Central composition doesn't always work but in this case the cup and saucer would have been fine in the centre providing the other items were more balanced.

I note you expected a 5.5 but got a 5.9 which isn't too bad. Hope that helps!

Almost looks like a French impressionist painting. I was one of your 9's (the highest I gave out in the challenge) but would never have guessed this as yours. I don't associate you with abstracts, and yet judging by this you would excel at the genre! Really nice relaxing shot.
