This one is nice as well. Good balance; the foreground has the nicely textured outcropping of rocks, the lighthouse "pops" from the bright reds. Nice blues in the sky with clouds for visual interest. I could see this as a print/poster. Nice photo.

Nice shot. I like the leading lines of the road up to the colorful lighthouse. The sky has nice blues and right amount of clouds to give the sky some visual interest. Nice balance to the pic.

I like this shot. For myself, its not boring. I like the patterns, lines, and angles. I rather like these "abstract" type shots.

It's interesting reading the comments on all of these submissions. I started from the last place finisher and now I'm up to yours; what one viewer sees as a negative, another viewer sees as a positive. For what its worth, I like this photo and actually gave it a 7; then again it suits my personal tastes. (And I thought the technical aspects were fine.)

Hey, easy now... haha. That's because us "old guys" were around when gas was cheap and we cruised the boulevard in our youth...
Car guys correct me if I'm wrong, I think thats an early 70's Dodge Charger...an R/T model...worth $$$ to us old guys. (I was a Chevy guy myself). Nice shot of the classic.

I like this shot. Normally a run of the mill type shot, but keen eye on the red letters, blue of the trim, the yellows of the storefront. Very nice contrast of the storefront to the neutral gray of the stone work of the building. I would have liked the archway on the right fully included. I think for me, it would have drawn me into the picture that much more; to wonder where the alley leads to. Nice shot.

I just saw the color version... B&W was a good choice, less distraction from the colors. Let's the viewer get drawn to his eyes, his face.
