This is a wonderful shot! The lack of eye contact between the subjects and the camera definitely gives a professional feeling. National Geographic might get jealous ;) Well done on the ribbon!

Yeah, based on the description - if there's a shadow anywhere in the photo, it meets the criteria. Never said that the subject had to be a shadow. Nonetheless, I thought this picture had plenty of darkness to qualify for shadows, and the silhouette only accentuated the shadows. It was a 10 in my book.

My eyes are drawn to the actual dog, not the shadow - which takes up the remainder of the frame. Cropping the bottom would have given the photo more justice.
