The Age of Innocenceby KaliComment: Hi Kali, let me congratulate you on the "purple ribbon" and a great shot. You are a great example for that it's not always the camera, but the photographer and imagination what makes a good photo. I love all the negative space you have included here, and the expressions on the girl's face. Way to gooo! :-) |

-LAURA-by AnastasiaComment: I like this diagonal composition with the B&W, reminds me of a fashion magazine cover. I also like her expression and her eye and mouth sparkling from behind her hair. The lighting is great here, the photo is wonderful, take 10 from me, and good luck! :-) |

portre ressami by kiwinessComment: I have an oriental feeling looking at the photo, just like an English girl who lives in India, or something like this. I like the little bit scared-surprised expression on her face a much, her eyes are beautiful sharp and and talking. I also like the vivid colours and texture of the scarf(?) against the greyish background and the crop is excellent for these expression. (10) |

Smile!!!!!!!by lmatrangaComment: Nice boy, I like his expressions. :-) I would crop from the bottom, though, the pattern on his T-shirt is a bit distracting and on some areas, the T-shirt and the stuff in the bacground is overexposed, lights have blown out. A little bit contrast could have been applied here, too. Maybe there is a bit graininess, too, but I like it. :-) My Olympus does it sometimes, too. |

Little Manby cbellerComment: Great lighting here, and I like the expressions on the boy's face and his head melting in the darkness. But his clothes are quite bad IMHO for this portrait. The white stripes on his T-shirtÃs neck always leads my eyes away from his face, as this is the whitest area on your photo. I would have chosen a dark T-shirt, to make his face the brightest area on the photo, it would make this photo excellent, this way it looks a bit strange to me. |
