Caramel Twirls by marboComment: Wow, very cool. It almost looks like an X-Ray of smoke. I dig the crisp-ness of each line, adn the mellow tones and shades is a huge plus. |

Reinforcementsby tvsometimeComment: I thought the idea was cool, but it's too "busy". There is too much to look at. I would have more enjoyed a closer view of the rebar hooks instead of this pulled back view. |

Twisted skyby gisliComment: Wow. Not really sure what else to say... the borealis reflected in the water is amazing. Ribbon-worthy to me. |

Shades of White by ronaldfwComment: The combination of shadows and the way they play over the sails in the light really stood out to me. Great shot! |

Resplendentby imaginggloryComment: Initial score of 8 was too fast. I didn't take time to look at the details, which is what I look for most in pictures. I was going to rescore it a 9 instead of 8, but then I compared it up against every other 9 I had scored and I just think it's better than the other 9s, so I knotched it up to a 10. The reflection and refraction of the blue light in the glass bulb did it for me. In fact, there are some parts of the glass bulb where I can't tell were the light begins or ends, which is an especially cool effect. The upper left loop of light is kind of "feathery" if that makes sense, and I think that is my favorite part of the picture. I love the richness of the blue color as well. My only constructive criticism is that on the far right (in the middle) the light doesn't seem as smooth as the other "light loops". Other than that, I think it's a solid effort, very well done, and deserves a ribbon. |

...Waitingby imaginggloryComment: You know, each time I look at this picture I like it more. The innocence is almost tangible, and that's what speaks to me. |
