The Electric Kool-aid Acid Testby grigrigirlComment: this is a very good photo. The circles on her body bring back memories and are somewhat like those days were. To me, this title that you picked screams out for bold, bright and over the top colors. That's what my memory is telling me anyway. |

The Red and the Black - Stendahlby bormicComment: When I went thru first, I gave you a 7. I like how eveything carries the same circles and dots. And how crisp it is and how the color is real. good job. 9 |

"A Modest Proposal" by Jonathan Swiftby MiahComment: Hmmm. Why is he about to bite her belly? What kind of proposal is being made and by whom? What does it all mean? I'm too confused. Does this have something to do from a part of the book? Sorry, I didn't read it. |

Cool Cocktailsby EddyGComment: Fun glasses. All the drinks look about the same, except the center one. I would have liked to have more variety or maybe just 2 or three glasses. Not too fond of the background. These are hard shots to do so I admire your attempt. |

The Holly Bibleby GoodEndComment: I'm glad not everyone took this so literally. Let me ask you a question. If you were talking to a stranger that didn't know about the bible and you didn't have one to show them, how would you describe it? Not just physically describe it, but what it means to you. That is what you should have photographed. I see the light/dark spots, but they have no meaning. |

The Joy Of Cookingby GeneralEComment: Cute kid and a happy picture. The shadows caused by the flash are distracting. Some ways to avoid shadows: place something thin and white over the flash, move the subject away from the background, use natural lighting and white board to bounce light back into the picture. |

John Steinbeck: Grapes of Wrathby crabappl3Comment: I read the book so I get what the picture is, but everyone who hasn't had the pleasure might get confused about the picture. I think I would have liked the horizon to be higher in the frame. That would have made a stronger statement about the unending road. The sky is not an important part of the image and yet you've given it almost 2/3 of the space. |

"The Lizard of Oz"by faidoiComment: It's a good play on words and I googled it. Yes. It's a "small" novel. This is a case where the author's name should have been included to save people time looking it up. Not that I'm complaining.
I would have liked to see his eye open. |

A Light in the Atticby soupComment: There isn't enough information. Your light seems to be a crystal ball. The dust is the only hint you give that this might be an attic. I think it could be improved by having a little more dof to at least make some of the background more focused. Or maybe a higher pov to get a different angle on the table or whatever it is holding the crystal ball. |
