Refreshing Coca-Colaby aj1621Comment: Nice light control. I like the motion also. There is a tilt to the picture that is bothersome since it's sitting on a table. A red background or anything else that was red would have reinforced the product's branding which is the ultimate point of an advertisement. |

Rainy dayby snowleopard10101Comment: Nice batik effect. I tried pumping up the sat a lot and it added a vibrancy to the picture. Personally, I'd have liked a darker rendition of this but this is nice also. It probably has a mid-range to lower score because of the sedate colors. |

Rose Raindropsby toskComment: I can see how the rose was offset in the composition. It's a bit sad that the bud had to be cut off because I think it would have been a lovely addition to the composition. This might be a little overexposed but it could be because it was overcast and so there was a lack of shadows and that cut down on the contrast. Even so, underexposing might have brought out more detail. |

Driving Rainby obsidianComment: My first impression is that there was a lot of smoothing done in post processing so that there is no definition in either the rain drops or the outside scene. I like how rain distorts things but there isn't that part left to this picture. The dashboard could be cropped out without messing up the composition. |

Raindropsby BeckyTComment: I've come to the conclusion that waterdrops have to be placed at stragetic places to have impact. The best place is at the tip of whatever is holding the drop. In this case, the tip of the blade of grass.
Now let's look at the composition. The subject has been isolated as much as possible which is good. But is all the background needed? What impression does the piece of cut grass give to the viewer? And that brown piece behind the subject? Would tilting the camera help? If the blade of grass would have a upwards or downwards tilt would it be more dynamic? |
