Left out in the rain!

The on-camera flash is causing shadows and has washed out some of the color. The color combination is good. Overall the photo doesn't have a lot of impact but I wouldn't know what to say to help you get a better score. Even if natural light was used, I don't think this would be a high scorer because of the subject matter.

To me, the best part of a water drop picture is the water drops themselves. In this picture that area of the frame is dark. Is it important that the viewer knows the season? Why is the green section included? Just some things to think about.

The colors are a bit awkward. You have tried to cut down on the distractions within the frame. That is one of the hardest parts for me. Maybe the curves adjustment caused the color problem. I almost always convert to b/w when the colors start going goofy. With the pcture as it is, the voters will knock off points for the color, with b/w you would not lose those points.

It looks overexposed and the magenta/pink is oversaturated. I avoid magenta because it is the most difficult color to work with. It seems to not have much forgivness in it as far as color clipping goes.

This has a lot of little things that make it likeable. The sunburst effect of the two drops, the alignment of the flowers, the nice bokeh. But in the end the overall presentation is lacking. I don't know what to tell you.

I like the green and the light color of the stem. The water drop seems to be overexposed at the tip, but maybe that is just my perception because of the darker portion. I will bump this up because of that. The composition seems to have a lot a negative space that isn't needed. The reason I feel that way is because the stem is pointing to the left and the space is to the right. It would seem to be more needed on the left.

These have been done so many times that the bar has been raised very high. It is almost impossible to get a decent score unless the shot is perfect. I salute the attempt that was made. This seems to be out of focus and overprocessed.
Seeing that there were at least 3 light sources, I wonder if a flash was tried. That would allow for a higher shutter speed but should only be used as an external flash that could be positioned away from the camera to avoid all the hot spots on the front of the drop.

The s-curve is a nice compositional element. If there had been a greater dof, this would have been one of the best windshield shots. As it is presented I gave it a 4.

I ended up giving this a four. The main reason was because the couple is leaving the frame, which was somewhat explained in the title. I feel that the title was created to overcome the composition, however. I did like how the rain was handled. The distortion is fun.

foggy window? it is hazy, overexposed and not interesting enough to receive a high vote. A better exposure might have improved it's score, but I doubt it would have been high even then because of the fact that it's not something that holds a lot of interest.
