Very true about the picture BUT the words "comfortable and pleasing" would be a HUGE, HUGE insult for the impressionists and an enormous misunderstanding of what they tried to do. |

IMG_5927-mooringsby Bear_MusicComment: This is a great photo "a la maniere de" Pissarro, Sisley, early Monet. Would it be even more "soothing" with a little blur of the trees and little houses?
The water has this oily quality so hard to capture. |
