Good job of capturing the sense of wonder. Less is more.

I think it would be better if there was more visible tension, perhaps in her hands.

A good study, and the way the color of the skin moves from the whiter/brighter bottom to the darker/warmer top is strong. I don't know quite what I think of the border. I find it distracting, but I don't know what I would think without it.

Nice job on a difficult subject. There is a lot going on, and you managed to find a nice set of patterns, in the lines of the vegetables and the circles of the plates. The chopsticks in the background mirror the vegetables in the foreground plate, and the steel bowl repeats the plates.

The coins pick the color of the frame up well.

The body language tells the story. I didn't need the title to get a senseof what was going on. The color in the shirt does a good job of bringing the subject out of the background.

I don't think the soft focus helps here. I'd also like to see some action, as the metal is at striking temperature, and the smith needs to work it before it goes back into the forge, or gets too cold to work.

If something was happening, I'd find the lack of any point of focus more acceptable.

The largest improvement would be the lack of the lower hand. I'd like to see a bit more modelling too, but that's not as distracting as the hand; which both grabs the eye, and takes work to identify.

This is a really well executed concept, and the lack of head adds to the power of the shot. The low-key aspects of the shot, and the wide gamut of tone/zone inside the image are handled well. The strain of body to make the model in the mirror look, "fat" adds to the effect.
