The Old Generating Stationby RayEthierComment: Awesome idea. I had a similar idea for this challenge, but it didn't pan out, so I entered something else. It's overexposed, though, and the lighting on the trees is harsh. |

Abandoned Faithby ladyhawk22Comment: This is a super-cool building and perfect for this challenge, but I think the slanted horizon and the tree and light post detract from it. I think I would've looked for a better angle, maybe from in front of the tree on the right, and taken a vertical frame to try to get the top of the church, as well. |

The Forgottenby instepsComment: This has the color tones of film, and you do a good job of pulling off the medium format look here. It reminds me a lot of the stuff I see at //www.makinghappy.com/ . You'll have nitpickers who suggest that the clothes pins make this place not abandoned, or that the focus should be on the building, but I think you've achieved your goal here. The building itself isn't visually very remarkable, but it serves as a good backdrop for the photo. I like it a lot. :) |

Nightbulb by scalvertComment: I should've recognized scalvert's style here. Great shot. :) |

Soft Flowby qmdiComment: It's a beautiful shot -- truly stunning -- but I don't get what makes it surreal, honestly. |

Secret windowby GordonComment: Gordon,
Your Austin bridge shots are always technically superb. I find myself trying to emulate them quite a lot, but never to quite the same effect. |

Rocksby jbeazellComment: I'd like to see more tone contrast, and maybe some more sharpening, as well. |
