The title, colors, depth of field and frame combine to give this a finished feeling that most of the other entries (mine included!) lack. This is getting the highest score I am giving in this lackluster challenge.

I don't see many that I "wuv" in this challenge but I do like this one a lot. Though there are many faces, this one is different and I find the use of the brake lights, the knob on the dash, the insets in the seat backs and the roll bars (I hope I am naming all this correctly enough that you can understand me) very clever. I love that these eyes have eyebrows and pupils and the mouth has teeth. It gets the highest score I am giving.

Gnome on the hill

The gnome is not apparent to me and I find the wires very distracting. I guess with basic editing you can't clone them out but maybe a different perspective or lighting would have eliminated or minimized them.

Pretty scene but I am not able to make out a hand or any other recognizable shape in the sky which for me is essential to a high score in this challenge.

I'm thinking this church had a rocket like look to you? Not bad. I'm afraid I don't get the crop -- don't watch enough TV, I guess. A different take on the theme and that gets it a few points.

Girl and her dog (and two horses??)

Don't know how to rate this -- I do see what appears to be two horseback riders coming toward the girl. Are they really that or just a play of light? It does matter, I think, for the challenge but either way they are not dominant enough in the image for a higher score from me.

The Shocking Fall

There were so many light socket and similar images in this challenge (same could be said for knotholes etc.) that I found myself comparing to others in this "subset". I did not find the angle or composition compelling and the faces were hard to "see" and secondary to the overall image.

Ghostly Bark

These amorphous forms are interesting but I am not really reminded of phantoms. Interesting jigsaw-like bark, though.

The face is okay but not well enough defined for me and I find the blurred leafy overhang in the upper right very distracting. You may well have found the mouth branch inserted this way, but it looks a bit as if you placed it there. Bark texture is very nice.
