-Caption this picture-by Yo_SpiffComment: I love this entry.
I chuckle every time I look at it because of that one eyeball from the mounter. It should have done better. Maybe if it hued it in pink or some other PG colour. |

After the Rain by myceliumComment: Originally posted by mycelium: Of course, this was also the time that the happy families decided that they wanted to stick their kids on the base of the Arch and take happy family photos, but some of the photog crowd was not shy about telling dads with PowerShots to get out of the way... |
Unless you had a permit enabling you to monopolize the Arch, I would have told you to f*ck off. What gives you, or the other photographers, the right to tell the families that they're less entitled to their photos compared to your lot? Really interested to here the answer to that one. Between last breaths and first regrets... by pambComment: #2, tied with another
So many images missed in this challenge, that this was an easy second. The subtlety of the rose in the middle can be lost if you don't look for an extended period of time. If you could have pulled slightly more contrast in that region, this image would have been much better; not much more contrast, just a little. |

I've paid my dues time after timeby hahn23Comment: #3
A good nature scene captured in the wild. That alone propelled it a little higher. It's a little too white washed for my liking, and missing some high-key blur, but so are many of the entries in this challenge. |

I'll never forget the first day i met herby jagarComment: #2, tied with another
First saw this and Quato immediately came to mind from Total Recall. I think this is a really strong image with a WTF story behind it. I'm really curious to know why there's a figurine hanging off this dude. Unfortunately, I think there's a better photo in this challenge, but this was really close to tying with my top vote. |

螳螂拳 (Mantis Style)by mefnjComment: #3, tied with another.
My only high vote involving colour. I have a fascination with fauna so I'm somewhat biased. The composition is really good and the title made me chuckle. For some reason it reminded me of watching the Five Deadly Venoms. |

Dad and the Kidsby sfaliceComment: #3, tied with another.
Simple. That's about as much as I can describe this photo. It's effective because you get the feeling of the kids just wanting to enjoy the ocean (or sea, or lake) and nothing more. |

Man on wireby redpandaComment: #2, tied with another.
I really wish he was in a more interesting pose, as opposed to be clinging for his life. Even though there is a cacophony of wires everywhere, the subject really stands out. I really like this image because it's not like the others in the challenge. |
