Very nice idea (particularly with "The Great Escape"), and good technique.
The background is too saturated for my taste, almost distracting from the subject.

With potential. The underexposure ruins unfortunately a great part of the impact, I understand you wanted a relatively dark horse crossing the light, but the horse is hardly visible on my monitor...
With some more aperture, not much, probably a great image.
