Greetings from the constellation of Ursa Major !!by PascalComment: Do they have a post office there?
I once sent a postcard from a distant mountain refugee... the owner offered to post it for me so I didn't have to carry it in my backpack for a couple of days. It happened to be the case that he kept his word but not earlier than after the summer season was over and he descended so it took a couple of months to arrive. But I guess that's nothing compared to a postcard sent from this spot ;-) |

Greetings from Paris by salmiakkiComment: Nice shot I like the crispiness, also in the reflection of the water. The 'stars' of the lamp posts are stunning. |

Beach Scapeby ThingFishComment: Nice processing. Not sure if this says 'postcard' to me but I like the layered texture of the rocks at the right side. |

City View at nightby GeorgesBogaertComment: Beautiful crisp nightspot. For me this could be any big city in the world so the "greetings from..." is missing (although added text does not necessarily make a postcard better i.m.o.) |

Florenceby tvsometimeComment: Nice postcard shot although the background hills are a little boring especially as there is little contrast with the cloudy sky. A more sunny, blue sky eventually taken with a polariser (as seen in so many totally over-the-top postcards in the real world) may give this more of a postcard look.
Funny to see how the tower crane blends in, white in front of the church wall and (mostly) red in front of the roof, and due to the perfect alignment with it, it looks like the white parts of the jib are actually part of the roof structure. |
