Arizona Sunsetby just_meComment: This is my favourite image in the challenge. The way you have worked the changing colour layers is brilliant. I love the fact that the black foreground appears distant.
This is a very soothing photograph. |

Reconpunksby CoryComment: This is my favourite. Extremely well done.
One criticism, if I may. Subjects are too frame central. I would have liked to have seen more looking room. Rule of Thirds. Position the subjects more to the left.
I loved the clarity of the image. |

Call Meby ElaineComment: For me, this is the stand-out image. Very well constructed and excellent colour selection. When the challenge is numbers, numbers is what I like to see. Nicely executed. |

The Stylistby Bear_MusicComment: I really like your picture composition in this image. The fact that we can actually see her face is a huge plus, together with the fact that it is an action shot. No other entries had all 3 components:
1.Excellent picture composition
2.Front on close up of face
3.Action shot
Nice work. |

Broken by sjhulsComment: Jen, to save the trouble of the broom in the bucket of sand, which I found hilarious, have you ever considered a remote controller? I used one in my minimal portrait challenge. |

Introspectionby ShaneBlakeComment: I too did a self portrait. I thought that you had too much headroom. You seemed to be sitting too low in the frame, for my liking
In a headshot I generally like to see the distance from the chin to the base of the frame, equal to or more than the distance from the eyes to the top of the frame.

These two images displayed that.
Hope this helps.
I thought that I could display these images, but maybe I can't.Message edited by author 2013-03-20 23:18:20. |

Hideout by HighNoonerComment: I thought that this shot would definitely be in the top two. I am totally surprised that it came 19th.
The picture composition is perfect. The pair seem 100% focussed on the off camera subject.
I love this shot. Well done. |
