Water Webby nfesselComment: I'm a sucker for a spider web, and the beaded water drops are perfectly captured here. Lovely work - sharpness is excellent, composition works well; I'd like if the dark bits were a tad closer to black-black, but - regardless - this is awesome work. |

Sheby librodoComment: This is absolutely beautiful - not just because the subject is lovely, but because the colours, sharpness, composition, etc. is all exactly what it needs to be to make this a stunning photograph. I love the slight feel of undersaturation, with the little bits of pink accenting here and there. This is just marvelous - 10. |

Prideby ergoComment: Mmm.. beautiful indeed. Usually shadows bother me, but in this case I like them - they add some nice drama to the simple background. Lighting is great - again, I like the shadows and highlights. Expression is fantastic, pose is perfect, and the composition is very effective - 10! |

Water Enhanced by spydrComment: Wow, this one really screams summertime to me. Maybe it's just because it's so hot, and that looks so cool and refreshing! Excellent capture - the crisp detail and vivid colours really give this appeal. |

They're Hereby L1Comment: Wow... I love this shot! But you're right, it's probably too weird for most DPCers :( |

Treeby ColeyComment: I would love to see a bit more drama in the colour/tones of this, or (alternatively) a black and white conversion - sharpness is great, and it meets the challenge on both levels well. Good job. |

Forgottenby BeingCleverComment: Wow.. this reminds me of a photo I took awhile back! This one's way better, though - awesome tones, I like the desaturated feel, and the sharpness is fantastic. I see a bit of grain, which I also really like for this shot. Composition works for me, and it meets the challenge well - nice work! |

OldSanJuan1.jpgby shocknurse1Comment: Lovely colours and textures. There are some great rich, deep tones here, and everything seems to be in perfect focus. The composition is interesting, and it works well; I would prefer if the tower were just a tad more properly centered, but that's just a bit of pickiness on my part. Nice work! |

View8.jpgby shocknurse1Comment: Very pretty - this is a pleasing photograph; the combination of geometric lines and a lovely vista really works well. Again, I must agree about the foreground/bottom. If you crop out some of the green bits, it would draw the eye much more easily to the beautifully exposed view - the trees are not in shadow, and the sky is not overexposed, which is very refreshing in this type of shot. You may or may not want to dodge the people checking out the view to give them some detail. I really love the upper 2/3 of this photo - just beautiful.

Luquillo.jpgby shocknurse1Comment: I also agree about lighting the foreground. You should be able to do a bit of dodging to really make this photograph excellent - or perhaps use layers or selections to edit the curves/levels of the foreground exclusively. At any rate, I really like this one. The composition is great, and the colours are lovely! |
