The Recital by grigrigirlComment: Very nice Degas. Great composition and just enough movement to be expressive. The right ballerina's arms and dress are blown out, but not horribly. Well done! |

Evening walkby AndelainComment: Good crop and color, but even with a perfect exposure, this type of shot won't tend to fare well in the voting. The backs of three strangers aren't particularly interesting to most, and you'll get some 1 votes for the apparent 4th person in the stroller. Shooting 1/2 second earlier would have avoided the tree lining up with the man's head. |

Triple your pleasure by DCThiessenComment: Yessiree... the old red wine, white wine and, uh... toilet bowl cleaner photo. Great color and exposure. One of my favorites in spite of being yet another shot of glasses. |

Peek-A-Boo...by JesuispeureComment: Yes, there are 3 fans, but the subject here are those great eyes. Perhaps with a little more light on the dark fan and a wider crop you might get a little more attention on the fans. Wish I could see the color version- it looks like you had a good exposure on the eyes. |

Coneheadsby vtruanComment: Good find, though the out of focus cone in the rear is a little disappointing. Color and exposure are right on, and I like the diagonal composition. I'll bet you're kicking yourself over the distracting blue strip at the bottom. |

Eat a Peachby fisheyeComment: First time I've seen a "non-famous" landmark that I recognize... I grew up near here. Good idea. It's a shame there wasn't a bird perched on it or something else to really show the scale. |

Guiding Lightby LtHousLadyComment: Though I didn't get a chance to comment on this challenge, this shot was the only one I gave a 10 (lots of nines though). Very well done. Congrats on your best finish... so far. |

Santaby jodiecostonComment: Allow me to be the first to say you were robbed! This should have easily been in the top 10. |

Factory Accident? by JackoComment: I wish eye'd thought of that! The straight-on eye just rivets you to that spot- maybe a bit of an angle would be even better? This could be a ribbon. |
