A Loving Homeby jasonlpriceComment: Hm, interesting approach to the challenge. Works for me, I see lights on, and its dark around the window, so definitely at night :-) It's actually a cool image. It grows on me the longer I look. Kind of 'voyeuristic', but in an innocent, kind of sweet way, if you know what I mean. I'm not sure how the general voters will receive it, but, upon consideration, I quite like it. To me, it's an image that is easy to 'connect' with. I say good job, and a good score from me :-) |

Moonlight Stroll by hotpastaComment: Very cool image! Very refreshing in this challenge with all the cityscape shots. Love the blue tones. Good composition. This has a very other-worldly, yet serene feeling. Great job :-) |

Orion Archesby moonwellComment: The lighting, and the colors, and the perspective of the bridge here are just totally great. Oh how I wish that the arch was not smack dab in the middle of the frame :-( If about 20-25 percent of the left of this shot were cropped/framed out, I really honestly feel this would be a much, much stronger composition. |

The Rising Burliegh Moonby BootsComment: Now this shot's kinda cool. I like seeing the colors in a night shot, and good detail in the dark foreground. Nice job :-) |

Saturday Night Lightsby EssAreDubyaComment: I think I see what you are going for here, kind of a 'typical slice of night life' type thing, which is actually quite a good idea, and you're close, but it just doesn't feel like it is all coming together in this case. The placement of the vehicle (on the lower left thirds intersection) in the composition makes one want to view it as a main subject, yet there is the pedestrian crossing sign post as a distraction in front of and disecting it. The bright white Chase Rd sign, being the brightest point in the scene strongly draws the viewers eye, and yet it is not in the focal plane, so I feel it leaves the viewer in their mind, a little confused as to the theme. In all, a nice idea, and a little more diligence to the choice of the layout of the scene could make a greater impact. |

Seattleby madcrabberComment: good job on exposure. And nicely composed with a good line and a vanishing point to draw the viewer across the image. Nice job. |

Autobahn abstractby omnisppotComment: This is one of the better light trails shots I've seen. The inclusion of the road gives it some solid context, yet it remains simple and to the point, nicely un-cluttered. It is a good, sound composition, and yes, works well as abstract for me. Well done :-) |
