Trappedby KenComment: The ultra tight framing here works very well for this shot, IMO. Nice job. |

You Look Like Gold To Meby super-daveComment: Hmmmm...an interesting image. When I saw the thumbnail, it didn't look like it really appeal to me. But upon seeing the full size image, it strikes me as kind of an abstract, and I actually quite like it. The yellow/gold tone adds to the photo, in this case, IMO. Nice job :-) |

Crescent Bodyby MPRPROComment: Nice idea. A lovely study of form. I really like the concept, and how you've used light here. I wish there was just a slight bit less negative space at right. Definitely not a lot less, just a tad, I think it would echo the form a little stronger if it were a little less. A beautiful shot though, very good job. |

Social Repressionby ace flymanComment: This is a great idea. I like it. Executed pretty good, the lighting and focus etc. is good. What I am unsure of, is the composition. Subject seems kind of centered and in this case seems to lack a littly dynamically. It doesn't seem like the negative space at the sides is contributing much to the theme. I am wondering if a tighter crop might work well here? Or perhaps using a portrait orientation, placing the negative space at the top of frame, it might add to the sense of 'repression', the weight bearing down on the subject? I like the idea though, and the technicals look good. |
