Ansel in the flat landsby rhipsterComment: The half sun is distracting as is the human structure between the trees. That nitpick out of the way, I love the details along the dirt road, the clarity of the tree, the wonder of the clouds giving this a distinctive AA style. Good photo! |

Ygnacio Valleyby NitinComment: Grand depth of field in this landscape photo. I miss the Zone X whites which would have nicely offset the deep blacks in the lower left corner. Still beautiful shot. |

Sonoran Spring by ArtifactsComment: Beautiful capture of the spirit and style of AA! One of my favorites to win this challenge. I especially love the start contrasts so evocative of a desert landscape. Thanks for this stunning photo! |

TeArau Rockby suemackComment: Excellent textures and tones. Clouds seem a bit over exposed, but could just be the way they were that day. Good AA style. |

Surreal Ironingby arnitComment: The only addition which would have pushed this photo up a notch would be a business suit and ironing a white button down collared shirt. But I love the ordinary extraordinary surrealism of this work. If this isn't Arnit's work, you owe him a great debt. Imitation is the sincerest form of flatterly. Press on Arnit! |

Surreal Reflectionsby banmornComment: Great use of realtime photography to capture the essence of surrealism, including the great iconic granddaddy of this misunderstood philosophical-artistic movement. The woman's attitude captures the aloof unreality of true surrealism. I also love the reflective glass panes in this photo. Thanks for bringing surrealism to us without photoshop bastardization. One of my favorites to ribbon. 10 |

Not seeing the big picture by octane202Comment: In my estimation, the finest of this challenge, which by artistic-cultural understandings presents very few truly surreal photos. Your photo presents us with a way through, outside the box, into the beyond, a lovely dreamscape. Thanks for a great photo. My favorite to win! 10 |

Chairman of the Boredby ZoomdakComment: I love the out of place black & white world of the business chairman among the greens. Perhaps increasing the saturation would have given this photo even more surreal punch. One of the best of the lot. |
