This room is very poorly lit. A 3. You might want to check your monitor settings. By moving the light source on the right behind the door, you could have exposed the picture more without the burn out that the light presents. This would still not be a very thrilling composition.

You were quick to note the ambiguity of the challenge title and description. This is a nice portrain of th bultures head, My concern is that he can see far more looking out than we can looking in. I feel that you have avoided the photographic challenge of photographing dark inner spaces from brightly lit outer spaces. Also, pictorially, Much of the top of this picture adds nothing to it, and it could have also been framed to include less on both sides as well. A 5.

I seem to have a lot less trouble with outside and inside on this shot than I have had with similar pictures of the insides of flowers. I believe it is because you have given a balanced treatment to the outside and inside. The juxtaposition of concave and convex provides interesting comparisons. The translucency on the right hand side provides some sparkle and life. An 8.

I think I would have liked this better with a longer range lens or larger aperture to defocus the background. Having the door open helped alot. The sky was pretty uncooperative. A 5.

Looking for pollen

This would be more outside the flower looking in than another shot I just passed where the camera was directly above the flower. Nice macro, nice bee. Maybe the light is a little to strong for the delicacy of a flower? A 7.

This is an excellent shot. I am assuming you used a polarizing filter to eliminate reflections. You did well to get as much light on the face of the driver as you did with the light coming mainly from above. An 8.

This is a nice macro. It does stretch the terms outside and inside somewhat as I would not describe the position where the camera is as outsitde the flower in normal conversation. A 6.
