Umbrellaby KronusComment: I really like the colors and the moment capture here. He/she seems to be looking right at me. The dark shadows on the right side of the image are a bit distracting. I'm thinking a square crop might leave a diagonal subject with the viewer guessing just how far those wing feathers go. |

flower_2by rileyComment: Excellent choice of background for the subject. The macro shot and positioning of the petals makes me think the flower is roaring to be heard, or perhaps sadly losing the battle to hang onto its petals. I like that contrast in representation. |
