This was one of my favorites of the challenge. An excellent capture. For some reason, I'm worried the 2nd shadow may detract for some. It didn't bother me at all, but it's the kind of thing DPC voters will look to nitpick at times. Well done.

I like the idea of a cat for the definition of "zen"... but perhaps a sleeping cat. This cat looks like it's ready to pounce, but maybe that's just the experience I have with my cat. Nice lighting and perspective though.

I'm sure many will not like the selective desat, but I'm a big fan. The shadows of the sun are harsh. The balance in the image detracts just a bit, but overall a nice simple image.
