Unauthorized entryby PascalComment: Is that a reflection of a toilet ??? If so, I'm amused, if not... there is nothing exciting to recommend this photo - it just needs something a little more to elevate it above the realm of the snapshot. |

The Highest Authority?by RussComment: I really love the lighting in the bottom left corner, though I find the over exposure in the top right a little off-putting.
I've only voited on a about ten pictures so far but Im pretty sure I'll see that exact title about 8 more times before I'm done. 6. (would ahve been a 7 or eight if youd cropped around the bottom). |

My Bossby JCDeanComment: This photo would have done better in the humour challenge, it's not a bad shot... but whether she is your boss or not, there is nothing authoritative about this shot... it merely made me smile. |

The Man Upstairsby ShadowrainComment: The Lighting here is brilliant, though I find the red tone of the hood a little distracting, pehaps a black sweater next time ?
All the same, a great image...9 |

Last Rays of the Day on the Frozen Domeby GautiComment: Hmmm, don't know why "nice stuff" only earns you a 6.... people are a little unenthusiastic with their grading sometimes.
Anyway, this picture is definately effective in black and white... i really like the effect of the sun shining through the fence, but you are right, the colour does have more impact. Message edited by author 2004-11-25 05:25:56. |

3by MikeOComment: Good work, I like this a lot, especially the fact that your picture actually gains something from the black and white conversion. This is a really interesting perspective on the subject. |

Geysirby heidaComment: Wow, that's an incredibly beautiful moment extremely well captured, normally I think I would find the silhouettes distracting in an image such as this, but here they add an extra element to the shot that serves to set this apart from other, similar shots.
In summary... well done, it's shots like these that really really really make me want to get my ass to iceland one day. |

Seaside Arabesque by jjbeguinComment: I've been floating about this site as an interested observer for a couple of months now, and I have reached the conclusion that this is the best picture I have seen here.
Brilliant. |

This Too Shall Passby gruvinComment: Hmmm... I get the feeling this picture would have been better in colour, It's a nice shot, but not really great as a black and white. |
