Lotsa lines good DOF. I'm very impressed with this shot. For technical excellence, it's a winner IMO. For theme, it's a winner. I say it's a 10. Good luck! The foreground is a TOUCH overcontrasted on the red ear. 10

Obvious lines, but it feels a bit too "half and half". Cropping out at least half of the sky really helps this photo a lot. The sky is pretty, but it ruins the "lines". 5
