cattail_setup_4069_copy.jpgby 2mccsComment: Excellent photo with equally excellent setup. Good job and a huge thank you for telling us how you did it, so many just leave off the details and keep you wondering.

lol I noticed that too, good thing this isn't a picture of 2mccs's carpentry skills. |

The Treeby alfrescoComment: very cool image. I would love to know where this is downtown. I really like how the stairs lead you around the image and into the main subject, even the angles of the concrete lead you around and keep the eye from being bored. Again, Very cool image. |

A cup of Pinkby arnitComment: very nice image. I love the off set of it, the negative space and the simple yet effective frame. The slight colors add so much without having to smack the viewer in the face.
GREAT JOB. Hope to see you on the main page when this is over. |

Navy Cadetsby DigiFotoBuddyComment: Nice picture. You did a great job at keeping the whites from being blown out and the shadows even too.
(psst...Cadets are actually something totally different (much younger and similar to Jr ROTC), these guys are just sailors that recently finished boot camp, most likly the day before.) |

001.jpgby eostylesComment: ditto on what the others have said. I feel if you're going to do the double image sort of thing maybe use two different images and show the ghost one just a bit more. I kind of like the style where one picture is in the corner and the other is full page, but I like that you are trying something different.
Keep it up. |

IMG_4070.jpgby LKMoteComment: They have one of these here at the chicago botanical gardens and I was just amazed at it. but didn't see anything telling what it was.
I could have took images of it all day but others were waiting. Great job!

Saxophoneby cfischlComment: Wonderful use of black and white. That saxophone looks very old but I bet it still sounded great. I especially like that you didn't do the normal thing and center your image or make sure you had all of him in it. I like his positioning within the image and the way you cropped him, very well done. |

I like the hint of color with the plants and vase but I'm unsure about the curtain to the left. Not quite sure about it. |
