I haven't seen that many nerds in one place since I toured Microsoft ;) Interested to see how you got them all on there, frosting? I think the lighting could be adjust a little-image seems dark and dull. See if you can post process it and get a much better image, there is potential here with a little rework.

I may be way off here but the main sharp focus seems to be on the wood and not the leaf. This may be in part to the softness those types of leaves (milk weed?) gives off. You have a nice range of texture from the soft leaf to the sharp, hard wood and your positioning seems right on.

Part of me likes the over exposed bright section on the left but I think the majority doesn't. Great close up detail and texture.

Hope you weren't standing on a very tall ladder shooting this ceiling fan. Details seem a little soft but could just be the light reflections. Good color.

Hey look, a fly on a stick (sorry running joke with my wife). Good detail although he's a little dirty and appears to be collecting dust for a little while. I like the depth of field and sharp focus. Totally one color background helps give attention where it is due.

Interesting. Focus seems soft on the barnicles but not the black shell, might need a slight adjustment there. Good depth of field otherwise.

Good texture but wonder if it would be better if you were closer and cut off some of the flower...my first thought was move it to the lower left corner. Your colors (especially green) are dull also, see if a saturation or curves bump could help. This has potential just needs slight rework.

Hummm, I'm guessing silver since there doesn't seem to be any overlap or gaps between the spots...probably way off though.
