My Lightby wildirisComment: Interesting variation on a common pose. These types of nudes usually are shot with a female model. This one is a bit unexpected. The focus seems a little soft. |

A hero lies withinby kevip6Comment: Hehehehehe... now THAT'S funny. Technically this is not a nude, but if I were voting, I would give points for humor. |

The Dipperby CutterComment: Compositionally not the most interesting nude, but it does have a certain voyeuristic feel to it which is a good thing. |

I am the tuneby MichaelCComment: Beautiful use of lighting and excellent concept. It feels cropped a little tight on the bottom. |

angel boyby sigrun_thComment: Typically with a high key infant shot, I prefer to see a softer focus. I'm afraid you've pushed this one a bit too far and what appears to be wings of some sort get lost in all the brightness. Poses like this also work better if the legs are under the baby. I do realize this is difficult to achieve, but with a little care and patience, you can eventually get it. Next time, try lighting the background from an angle behind the baby with a softer fill flash to light the baby. I've used an off camera slave flash on white foamboard behind the baby and a softer strobe to light the baby on this exact same shot in the past. You've got a good start, a little more experimentation and practice will get you a much better shot. |

Mabelby InDotsComment: The pose and concept are both interesting and the model is beautiful. However, I am NOT a fan of several things. The foreground and background have been obviously removed and the halos around the subject are a bit distracting. The reflections in the glass cylinder that obscure the breast add visual interest, but the same reflection becomes a distraction when it obscures the models face. Your model has beautiful skin... it almost looks unreal! |
