For what it's worth, I never had a problem with it being a staged shot. This is just not a scene that happens in nature, but it can be created in the mind of the photographer! Congrats! |

In The Mixby scab-labComment: Gary, this is a fine, fine shot. I am even more impressed to read the details and see that it was taken at iso 800! Wah! If I tried that with my cam it would be so grainy you would scarcely be able to tell what it was.
Anyway, many congrats on your first ribbon! I'm sure there will be more to follow. |

Looking Outby sagestudioComment: Excellent portrait! Shame you got so beat up about not meeting the challenge well. I thought it worked great and had it picked to do much better (I expected it to make the top 25). But it just goes to show how literal the voters can be. |
