Icy Chasm by StrikeslipComment: Eight ribbons. *checking bible* yep, thats a sign of the apocalypse. Thanks Slippy, you've brought about the end of days.
Congrats on another ribbon. This is a great shot. |

Street Walkerby pawdrixComment: This is a fantastic photo. While it is a silhouette the amount of detail that can be seen makes it a very striking image. I just spent five minutes examining it and can come up with nothing negative to say. |

mug1Eyes.jpgby cryingdragonComment: This is a great expression, pose, his blurred foot is a little distracting, but overall its nicely done. Lighting looks good to me. I'd probably clone out the string on his right arm. |

muslin1.jpgby cryingdragonComment: Great expression, don't like the shadow on the left. I'd probably take out the reflections off his tongue. |

hat.jpgby cryingdragonComment: Looks a little out of focus, and a bit like a mugshot. Not the best of the set. |

lighthouse.jpgby jpochardComment: I agree with the previous posters, this has an "older" feel to it. Would probably work really well with an overlay to further age the photo some more. |

So Many Pumpkins!by jpochardComment: Nice work. The background is very well crafted. The shots are well selected, I wouldn't have guessed that the little girl wasn't in a good mood, although she looks a little sour in the upper right shot. |

Descending Softlyby jpochardComment: This shot is a real mix for me. I like the feel of the image, but am having a tough time finding a real focus point. When I first looked at it the line "come into the light Carol Ann." Came to mind.
Feel free to mark "Photographer found comment not the least bit helpful." :) |

Iris (Border)by jpochardComment: Great colors and detail. If it wasn't for the sharpness surrounding it, the center would seem almost soft (optical illusion I believe). Is there a person in the background? Or is that just a trick of the light? It looks like a man wearing a red shirt- I'd take that out- that is my only criticism of this shot. |

Trioby jpochardComment: I was about to say how odd it was that I was the first guy to comment on this, but its a good thing I caught it because I bet 18191 would be upset by that.
You handled the shadows very, very well. Your exposure is dead on. Without the buttons (what are these things?) this would be a drab shot. But the pop of color is what makes it a good shot. |
