Not really what I would classify a macro, more a "closeup", I mean, you got the whole subject in the frame, just like a headshot is to me a closeup but a picture of someones eye would be a macro to me. Not a bad shot though so I gave it a 5.

Sorry but I don´t like the overbearing green color in this image and the pretty much unpleasant "vertigo" sensation you get from the backround, plus this image is way too busy for my taste and frankly I find it unpleasant to look at, 99% of that is the strong green color and the backround.

Sorry but this image is seriously flawed, too dark, out of focus and you really can´t make out anything, hard not to give this a 1, hope you were deliberately aiming for the brown ribbon, otherwise I suggest you read your camera manual again and learn how to focus and properly expose your images. Just looks like something that would come out of a flawed pinhole camera.

Has potential, but whatever you did in post processing destroyed it as far as I am concerned, the "look" on the image is not to my taste. Needs to be a lot more crisp and not so "cartoonish" to flatter me.

Sorry but too dark for my taste, the flame on the bottom is cool but you need some lighting on the top part, try setting a flash off on that part from behind, should give some cool texture to this type of shot.

Uhmmm, isn´t this a flower? Sorry but DNMC as far as I am concerned, should have entered in that other contest, cause it´s a good shot, great colors and I like the fire.
