RountreeSwans.jpgby cornettcagComment: Beautiful! I like the DOF here - did you use a telephoto lens or did you just close the aperture all the way?
You could have experimented with trying to burn the neck of the closer bird some, to eliminate the glow. But even with the glow, very nice image. |

Swingby idnicComment: One of the rare 'painting with light' photos that has clarity AND meaningful shape AND looks appealing. Symmetry is here, it feels like a 3D image. Congrats and good luck. |

50/50by tcmartinComment: Aah, the randomizer left the best images for last! Iam so glad I went through all the images! And, the inevitable comment - where is the top of his head? It would have been OK to cut him off if there was e.g. a goal in the frame or something more interesting, but this way it's really missing. Still, 7. |

Misty Morningby bryanbrazilComment: Beautiful! One of better waterfalls/waterflows in the challenge. The composition is excellent. The only thing I may recommend is showing where the water comes from - the very top-right corner of the photo has the water falling from the sky and perhaps showing another ~50 pixels (in current resolution) would have been better. |

Facemaskby mud puddleComment: Great catch! I would have cropped the #97 out of the photo, though. |

Speeding Past the Shuttersby secondglantzComment: great capture. I am curious why it hasn't been validated by now... Is this fellow on a trampoline? Or has this been also published in a local newspaper on the black chronicle pages? |

I got arrested once for throwing eggsby jsonComment: Did any of that yolk end up on your lens? Congratulations on great capture of the moment. If only you could have picked a different angle, perhaps with more uniform background to increase the impact (pun intended). |

Little Red Riding Woodby DvanComment: Cool photo, but it does not scream "Shutter speed" to me. It does not even whisper it... another issue is with the handlebars cut off from the photo. |

Do not disurbby pellemannenComment: Excellent interpretation of the topic! (Love the IKEA curtain, too). Should have cropped out the sink on the left, though. |

1/200thby iamkmaniamComment: This reminds me of my Dreams entry :-) [thumb]174681[/thumb]
I wish you luck with this one. It should have been a tad faster, 1/500s would probably do better to freeze the water motion. |
