Broken Dreamsby Moose101Comment: Excellent choice of the image. One of the top candidates I rated so far... 8+ |

Wind in sailby grahampComment: I wish for the livelier colors of the sky and the water. Also, it looks like the boat is slightly out of focus (by looking at the line between the red and white) That takes ranking away from potentially high-placement photo. only 6. |

kite surfingby whiteroomComment: Great image, well matching the challenge. I am not sure what the original colors were, but given that the kites are usually colorful and most likely contrast both the sky and the sand well, I wonder if the color image would have been better here. 8. |

Strong Windby DiscraftComment: This should be a ribbon winner, given the competition. I don't care too much for non-standard aspect ratios, especially when it doesn't seem to do much for the image. I would have cropped the lower part, probably all 2/3rds of the gravel below the bottom grass line. That would have also put the object more towards the lower 3rd, removing it from the almost vertical center of the image. 9. |

Wind Blownby Happy BunnyComment: Great choice for the difficult challenge - you were lucky to find those trees! Now, the weather wasn't great, I could see, and that spoils the photo a bit for me. 8. |

Yesterday's Paperby vontomComment: Good idea! NOw, the composition could have been better, I think. Applying the rule of 3rds, the horz. line between the concrete and the grass should have been placed either at the upper or a lower 1/3 of the image. Your position could have been a bit lower, to more emphasize the airborne paper.
Great job on meeting the challenge, again. 6. |

Billowing Angelby HOOlovesdrumsComment: The blurry image does not seem to convey the wind - and is not the most pleasant thing to look at. Unfortunately, cannot recommend the improvement except perhaps shorter exp. time that would have yielded less blurry image, yet leave teh indication of imbalance caused by the wind. 3. |

Good windby StagoleeComment: Very nice capture and choice for this difficult challenge. I only wish for livelier colors of the sea and the sky/stronger blue would lighten up the photo. 7. |

Rebel Yellby umbrisComment: You didn't need to take rebel apart to get yourself a ribbon...
Composition: Something is bothering me about it, probably a lack of focal point. The circles (from the EF mount?) could have been used to accentuate a recognizeable object in this mess, for example, the 'digital rebel' logo on the front of the case. Just a suggestion.
Challenge: The image meets and exceeds the assigned topic.
Overall, 8. |
