Framed Minaretsby tyt2000Comment: The tops (domes) of those minarets look like they'd be very colourful, especially against the sky. How restrained of you to see it in B&W. I think there's a bit too much frame & not quite enough minaret. But still good. 6. |

Stone Arch Bridgeby GatorguyComment: This is a very good composition, and takes every advantage of this happy juxtaposition. 7. |

Spanish Castle Magicby xtabintunComment: The only thing to improve this scene would be the corpse of the architect hanging from the battlements. Just kidding. It's a grotesque building but a good photograph. 6 |

Sunrise at the Lighthouseby StagoleeComment: This is a very appealing image of an architectural detail. This facade is not really a spectacular design, but it is beautifully displayed in the early morning sunlight, so I think this is a very legitimate architectural study. It seems a bit over processed, but maybe that's just the effect of the low-angle light source & the sunlight flooding all the other colour out of the scene. 6. |

Tower Anglesby kearockComment: It looks very nice; interesting shapes, angles & colours. But it doesn't say much to me of an architectural nature. Sorry. 4. |

Seismic Retrofit, Deconstructedby GeneralEComment: Sorry I don't get it. It's a mediocre photo of an irrelevant subject with a bizarre title. On the other hand, your spelling's spot on. Punctuation, too. That's a couple of points, right there. 2. |

Sky Slide by qmdiComment: I don't know what it could be. Does that matter? Maybe not; it certainly gets your attention, and says something. Something about the architect, if nothing else. And it's a good photo of this thing. 6. |

Perlan by Nightfallby GautiComment: Iceland's marine fuel oil reservoir complex? This is a visually striking photograph. I hope, for the sake of the architect, that this particular view of the building does not show it to its best advantage. If this IS its good side, then all I can say is the lighting is quite nice. 6. |

Empiresby ImagineerComment: Reflected architectural scenes are hard to resist, for photographers and their veiwers. I guess I'm saying that it's not awfully original. This is a good one, however, with a very good title as well. 6. |
