You've stolen my former view :-) That looks so hauntingly like my marshy hangout on Cape Cod before we moved off-cape to the mainland a few years ago. It was a pleasure to view this in voting and feel right at home. I love the soft, muted rendering.

Nice shot, but I'm not seeing this as a good example of negative space, especially with the parasailor competing with the sunset for attention. I miss that view, though, I really do :-) What with having taught at UCSD and golfed at Torrey Pines so often in the springing of my youth (said the 78-year-old man marooned under a blanket of right-coast snow).

Well, you have lots of negative space, but it's not interacting with the subject in any defining way. And forgive me for saying this so bluntly, but for me the border is absolutely hideous and ruins whatever positive feelings I might have had about the image :-(
