Fabulous shot! Only one small thing that I might have done differently: the lightsouce throws a very orange light. In post processing I might have desaturated some of the red to try and make it seem a little less "man-made" feeling--but that is a detail. Again, great shot.

Funny and interesting shot. It stands out in the thumbnails section. Try this: instead of using the lasso tool to "pop" the horse's ear in front of the border, use a mask and a soft edge brush to paint it in (using white on the mask layer). By doin it that way, you get a slightly blurred edge like the one you have on the other untouched ear. IT helps to get rid of that "photoshopped" look.

The whites are over exposed and it's generally kind of blurry. The shot is great in terms of angle, colors, lighting and what not, but the focus and exposure detract from that.
