Very nice. You can almost feel the softness. If you're trying to portray the seeds blowing out of the pod, a slower shutter speed might have worked better to give a sense of movement. Looks perhaps a little over-sharpened too (light halos round the dark seeds). But it's still a very nice shot and one which I think will do well.

I like your friend. It's a little softfrom just behind they eye forward, though. Looks like point of focus is just in front of the ear. The light area below dn right of the nose is blown out too. I like the composition and colours.
