I would like to see some contrast (dark darks and light whites). In addition, I think she's cropped a little too tightly. However, overall I think you did a good job =) Very nice portrait!

I am not sure if this is a studio set-up, in case it is I would recommend either a gold or silver reflect on the left side... this will add some hilghlights in his/her eye and bring out detail in the fur. It's so difficult photographing black pets... especially with so much white... you did an excellent job!!!
