Love the way the "danglies" on the bracelet came out. With the motion, they remind me of off beat pomegranates!

As to backgrounds, try old pieces of wood or interesting textiles. Hang things from tree limbs. I have some sandstone flagstones in my patio that make a good background for all sorts of things. Collect odd shaped bottles and then drape your bracelets over them. Just carry your stuff around the house, and put it on various surfaces. You'll be surprised at what you find.
