The title is really what make this one stick together - without it, I would struggle to understand the significence of these two objects.

Compositionaly, it's spot on. Clean and well postitioned.

It is a little soft, and lacks the extra punch of a saturation boost.

All in all, a pleasing shot (5)

The colour is great, however there are one or two hot spots creaping in on some of the carrots.

I also think that the composition could be improved by either cropping wider to fit the top of the top carrot in, or cropped closer to remove the background all together.

It certainly won't be a mild one!

The colours are nice as is the use of a shallow DoF, however the lighting lets this down. My eyes are constantly drawn to the hotspots on the lager peppers.

The colours are good and the light is too (I actually like the shadows cast by the apple).

However the whole thing is a little too soft for my taste.

I also like the composition of the shot - the reflection is cool to. (5)

I like this, as it tells my mind a story - I'm given a context and setting by this shot. It's not just a shot of a fruit or veg thrown into a fich tank or a glass - you're washing the fresh mushrooms - getting them ready for a dish or a salad or to just eat.

The colours are well represent, not too over done or understate, and the exposure is spot on. The focus is in all the right places and I like the creative use of DoF.

Good luck with one (7)

One of many variations on an overdone theme for this challenge (sorry, that sounds mean!)

This one however had been very well excuted. The colours are good, but there are one or two hotspots. I also think it's cropped a little too tight.

All that said, it's a good image (5)

Great study of shape, colour and lighting, although there are one or two slight hotspots.

Other than that, I love it. (7)

This is a great subject that (of course) fits the challenge.

The lighting is great and the dropplets just add that extra interest for the eye. However, I'm not 100% sold on the composition - there are also one or two blown highlights on the top of the pepper.

Nice shot, shame about the composition (maybe go back and re-crop?) (5)

Unfortunatly, this isn't the best one either. The light seems a little harsh in places and very flat as you move to the edges of the frame. There also seems to be a lot of noise in the apple.

Good attempt all the same (4) (I would give 4.5 if I could)

You definately achieve what I think you set out to do. I like the shafts of light that fall onto the fruit.

I think that a different colour material (deep, dark red) would have worked better for placing the basket on - I reckon it would add more devine (or even Roman?) feel to it.

Also, there is a quite a lot of noise in the background. A change to the foreground colour would have allowed you to push the black background deep to the black.

Nice shot (5)
